In 2019 we commissioned Nick the Navel Architect to run an analysis on a Leopard 51 using electric motors. We asked for range, top speed and performance characteristics.
We had done this analysis in house and came to the conclusion this type of vessel would be perfect with electric motors and a large solar array. We did not share these results with the consultant but rather allowed them to reach their own conclusion. It was the same.
